J-Fall 2006 - feel the vibe - huge success

J-Fall 2006 was a big success. Over 700 Java developers attended the event, held on October 11th in Ede, the Netherlands. In a packed conference venue, 27 sessions were presented on several topics.

"The NL-JUG JFall conference was a complete surprise to me, a wonderful program put together by people that actually know what their talking about in terms of technology.  The quality of the sessions were beyond the 'helloworld' level which was so refreshing.

"At the J-Fall 2006 conference in Ede (that’s in the Netherlands) Angela M. Caicedo and Simon Ritter from Sun Microsystems presented project Sun SPOT (Sun Small Programmable Object Technology). Those Sun Spots are exciting little devices with I/O, LEDs, wireless communication and sensors, which can be programmed directly in Java." -- Harald Walker
