J-Fall 2006 - feel the vibe - huge success

J-Fall 2006 was a big success. Over 700 Java developers attended the event, held on October 11th in Ede, the Netherlands. In a packed conference venue, 27 sessions were presented on several topics.

"The NL-JUG JFall conference was a complete surprise to me, a wonderful program put together by people that actually know what their talking about in terms of technology.  The quality of the sessions were beyond the 'helloworld' level which was so refreshing.

I would recommend this one conference to anyone in the Java field and I am looking forward to their JSpring conference next year." -- Alan Williamson

"Alright everybody, J-Fall 2006 is a wrap and it has been a fantastic event! Of course I'm a little biased as being one of the organizers, but looking back on the amount of work it takes for a lot of people behind the scenes to get this party rolling only strengthens my observation. It is such a great feeling when you see a crammed room when the opening video kicks off." -- Bert Ertman

"At the J-Fall 2006 conference in Ede (that’s in the Netherlands) Angela M. Caicedo and Simon Ritter from Sun Microsystems presented project Sun SPOT (Sun Small Programmable Object Technology). Those Sun Spots are exciting little devices with I/O, LEDs, wireless communication and sensors, which can be programmed directly in Java." --
Harald Walker

"Today I attended JFall 2006, the conference of the Dutch Java user group NLJug. Besides speaking to a lot of old colleagues there was a lot of interesting material and thoughts presented." --  Arnoud
