Are you really Agile? 

Agile development is hot nowadays. Projects are using Agile techniques like pair programming and continuous integration more and more. But why? What issues is Agile development addressing? Is it code quality? Testability? Fun?

This talk explains the real intent of Agile development and explains the problems it is addressing. It explains the origin of Agile development by investigating the nature of software development. It may change the way you look at Software development and your role in it.

Within this new paradigm Michael will explain iterative, evolutionary and agile development, and introduce a couple of popular methodologies. The talk will conclude with some experiences, thoughts and ideas about the future of Agile development.

Level: All levels

Prerequisite knowledge: Some IT project experience, some Java. Some experience with Agile development recommended for maximum impact ;-)
