From Java to Ruby … and Back

The Ruby language and the Ruby on Rails framework (Rails) have been growing in popularity recently. However, unlike many people think, Ruby and Rails are not necessarily a replacement for Java. Attend this session to learn what Ruby and Rails are about and how to use these technologies within a world of Java. By the end of this session, you will know how to install and configure them, what the pros and cons of each technology are, what the useful tools are out there, where to find help when you need it, but most of all how to use Java and Ruby/Rails together!
