Keynote Adobe with Matt Chotin - Product Manager Flex - and Adobe evangelism team

The Rich Internet application (RIA) market is a booming market of technologies to create web applications that are engaging, interactive, lightweight, and flexible. RIAs offer the flexibility and ease of use of an intelligent desktop application, add the broad reach of traditional web applications and are often deeply integrated with enterprise backend systems. Adobe has created an extensive platform to deliver Rich Internet Applications, called Adobe Flex, of which large elements have been opensourced and which has tight hooks into the Java world.

This keynote addresses the current state of the Rich Internet Application market for developers, the open source initiatives at Adobe like the Flex SDK and Mozilla Tamarin project to which developers can contribute, and last but not least several announcements from Adobe regarding the future of RIA development using the Flex platform.
