Reginald Hutcherson Sun Microsystems is the manager of the evangelists at Sun Microsystems and a Technology Evangelist for the Java 2 platform and Java HotSpot performance engine. In this role, Reggie is responsible for working with key ISV's in the enterprise solutions market to facilitate their adoption of critical Java technologies. Reggie has an extensive background developing state-of-the-art software systems. At the Stanford Research Institute, he researched distributed systems and network protocols. At Sybase Inc., he worked in the Performance & Kernel Architecture group on their distributed database engine. Reggie has a BS in Computer Science and a MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. Additionally, he matriculated in the MS program for Computer Science at Stanford University.
