Keynote - Enterprise 2.0: New Technologies, Innovations and Communities

From telegrams to telephones, from fax machines to email, as times have changed, companies have taken advantage of technological innovations to improve business, drive innovation, and build communities. Today, cutting-edge, interactive technologies collectively known as Web 2.0 are creating another leap forward, enabling people to collaborate more easily; improving access to information; and facilitating communication between employees, customers, and partners. The use of
these technologies by industry is known as Enterprise 2.0, and developers are leading the way discovering new ways to connect people, information, communities and systems.

Join Director Reggie Hutcherson, Sun's Technology Outreach leader, as he provides an overview session on the state of Java Enterprise computing. From Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE platform) to the latest client Java technology, JavaFX. He will cover all the latest developments associated with JDK 7, Java EE, GlassFish and JavaFX. And illuminate how communities like Java User Groups are driving innovation and technologies that support Enterprise 2.0 innovations.
