JavaFX: Building Real World ApplicationsJavaFX is all about rapid development of Rich Internet Applications that can take advantage of all the power of the Java platform. To do this the JavaFX script, a declarative, statically typed scripting language is used instead of Java.
This session will explain how to harness the power of JavaFX to develop real applications that go beyond the simple demonstrations that you've seen so far. Tips and techniques for using the latest features of JavaFX 1.2 and JavaFX Mobile will be covered along with more detailed discussions of more in depth programming aspects such as effective use of binding and how to deal with multi-threading and asynchronous events.
Although previous exposure to JavaFX would be useful, developers new to JavaFX will still find this an interesting session.
