JDK7: What's In and What's Not

Evolving a language as popular as Java is no small task. This session will discuss the current status of the JDK 7, what are the features that are going to be included and what we've decided to leave out. We will report on the new Java programming language features for modularity and the Jigsaw module system being used to modularize the JDK software itself. We wil explain how the Java Virtual Machine is evolving into a true, multilingual universal runtime for high-level languages; and finally, we'll show all the new features for developer productivity.
