Ordina is one of the larger IT firms in the Netherlands. Sander Hoogendoorn is a partner with this company. He is specialised in modern software development, ranging from software development methods, object orientation, UML, component based development, software architectures to development environments and Java and .NET. Sander advises organisations on software development and has coached numerous projects. He publishes in magazines both in the Netherlands and abroad. He is a member of the advisory board for Software Release Magazine and writes a monthly column for this magazine. He is also a columnist for SDGN Magazine. His first book "Smart. Successful cooperation in software development" was recently published. His second book "Pragmatic modeling with UML" is published by Addison Wesley in april 2004 (both book are in Dutch). Sander is well known for speaking at international conferences such as JAOO in Denmark, OOP in Germany, Database Systems, DSDM Conference, J-Spring and Java Systems in the Netherlands and JavaPolis in Belgium. Besides that he talks at seminars on agile development, trends, UML and .NET.
