OSGi 101 - Hoe en wat is OSGi

Wat is de reden van het feit dat de nieuwe versie (3.0) van Eclipse op basis van een OSGi framework werkt en dat vrijwel alle grote IT-leveranciers meewerken aan of producten ontwikkelen op basis van de OSGi standaard. Deze sessie geeft een overzicht van de belangrijkste kenmerken van de OSGi standaard, een overzicht van mogelijke oplossings-strategieen en vooral een aantal ervaringen van het toepassen hiervan.

Marcel Offermans 
Luminis
Marcel is an experienced software developer with a background in mechanical engineering. He has an extensive knowledge of C/C++ and is an early adopter of Java and related technologies. Having been the head of a research department for a software house for years he has a very broad knowledge of current technologies and is used to working in innovative environments, building networked applications on both Linux and Windows systems. Marcel is very good at understanding and explaining complicated technical issues. Today Marcel is working as a senior software engineer and gives courses on topics like UML and OOA&D.
