Rich Internet Applications provide a technology with which the status-quo of broken user-experienced can be fixed effectively. With J2EE based technology like Macromedia Flex we can now build better user-experiences using tools that fit well within the J2EE developers toolbox. Find out what RIA is, what it looks like from the user-perspective, but also what it looks like under the hood. The Flex solution itself but also open-source utilities that are not unfamiliar such as Flex-Unit, Cairngorm MVC.
