Integrating Spring with the Oracle Application Development Framework

The Oracle JDeveloper IDE and the Application Development Framework (ADF) provide a highly
productive development environment suitable for building a whole range of application types from
desktop to web and mobile, based on J2EE standards. In this presentation we’ll look at how Spring
can be used as a service layer for ADF applications utilizing JSR-227 data-binding as a broker between
the two frameworks. We’ll also be previewing the Spring plug-in for JDeveloper which includes
full XML editing support with code insight for Spring bean configurations and drag and drop data
binding to Spring beans in JavaServer Faces, Struts, JSP and Swing applications.
