Composing Music in NetBeans IDE: What?! How?!

Short description of the session: NetBeans IDE is a proven Java development environment. But
what about the NetBeans Platform? An alternative to, for example, the Eclipse RCP, the NetBeans
Platform allows for rapid Swing application development, in combination with the Matisse GUI Builder.
Integrating JFugue API, a free open-source music composer API, into NetBeans IDE is strangely
simple. Building a user interface on top of the API is simpler still. Before you know it, you’re composing
music and saveing MIDI files...

Prerequisite knowledge: none

Outline of the presentation:
Overview of user interface in NetBeans IDE 5.0 for plug-in development,
followed by a music composer plugin demo.
