Gerdt Brouwer Wowww I am manager and co-owner of Wowww in Groningen, a company that is specialised in ECM (Wowww! is official Gold SI-partner of Alfresco), Java-, Ruby- and Flex/AIR development, from mashup to large performance critical projects.
I worked with Java the last 4 years mostly on the frontend with JSF but was looking for a crossbrowser solution all the time and think I found it in Flex in 2007.
After Adobe made it open source and also launched BlazeDS there is a big movement that shows that developers need another tool for RIA’s and it shows that Flex is a proven technology and can be a good solution.
The last year I made many applications with Flex and Java.
Together with Prisma-IT I took the initiative to start a Dutch Flex User Group, Flugr.nl, which will be presented soon.

Mark van Hedel Prisma IT I'm an Adobe Certified FLEX, ColdFusion and Air trainer at Prisma-it.
Last few months I've mostly worked on creating a FLEX application with a Spring/Hibernate background. I've also been working on a lot of new Flex trainings with the Adobe training team and am working on the Flex User Group now as well.
